Does anyone know a local source for worms for vermiculture?

I'd like to try starting a worm composting project this year - but the cost of a pound of redworms is pretty high - close to 50 bucks counting shipping and handling, if you order them mailorder.

I was wondering if there are any good local sources of redworms for vermiculture? Does anyone here know of any? It would be nice to spend the money in this area.

Bill, did you find a source?    I sell worms and ship nationwide from Schuylkill County.
