Did you ever wonder when and by whom your old homestead was built? Researching house history has many parallels to the skills needed for researching family history. Join us as Mimi Reed presents a unique program on how to get started with your house genealogy.

Mimi has been a genealogical researcher for fifteen years and currently serves as treasurer of CCGS. She has a certificate of completion for the American Genealogy accredited course administered by the National Genealogical Society, and has completed four, week long tracks at Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy: Producing a Quality Family History, Skill Building for Professional Level Research, Advanced Genealogical Methods, and American Land and Court Records. She also performed research on the mill history for the book, Pine Grove Mills: History of a Hometown 1801-2001.
