The Nittany Valley Shakespeare Festival - Midsummer Nights Dream
NVSF presents Shakespeare in the Parks: A MidSummer Nights Dream
The Nittany Valley Shakespeare Festival, a recently formed group committed to bringing the plays of Shakespeare as well as many other classics both in live performance and in educational opportunities to all the people of the Centre region, will be initiating its work with the staging of Bill Shakespeare’s Fifteen-Ninety’s hit A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Performances will be held in Orchard Park in the amphitheatre (1000 Block of Bayberry Drive in State College) at the Millbrook Marsh Barn at the Nature Center (614 Puddintown Rd, College Township) and at The State Theatre (130 W. College Avenue, State College). Admission is free to all performances and event goers are encouraged to bring their picnic baskets and lawn chairs and enjoy a day in the park with the performance. This production will be directed by Susan Riddiford-Shedd and co-sponsored by Centre Region Parks and Recreation and The State Theatre, Inc.
