RISE - an event for awareness of sexual assault in the gay, lesbian, transgender, and color communities

"Rise... above the silence."  RISE was an event to raise awareness about sexual assault in communities of color and the LGBTQA community.  The event, held in Heritage Hall on Thursday, April 15th, was free to the public.  There was a good turnout, and the speakers and performers were met with an enthusiastic, passionate audience.
