Changing Hearts and Minds About Animals and Food: presentation and Q and A.  

Monday Feb. 22, 7 - 8:30 pm.

PSU University Park Campus Kern building, room 112.

Sponsored by the Penn State Vegetarian Club.  Free and open to the public.

Hear Gene Baur, president and co-founder of Farm Sanctuary, discuss the movement to reform factory farming and to treat animals with decency.  Gene Baur has documented conditions at hundreds of farms, stockyards, and slaughterhouses, has facilitated the rescues of countless animals, and has testified at the US Department of Agriculture on animal rights and human responsibility.  His national best-seller, Farm Sanctuary: Changing Hearts and Minds About Animals and Food, will be available for sale and signing by Gene.

The date for this event is Monday Feb. 22 at 7 pm.   The calendar changed my entry to Feb. 23, I can't change it back!
