The HLAA national conference in June was a very educational and reaffirming experience for all who attended. Sixty-six deaf and hard-of-hearing young adults (age 17-45) joined the population of more than 800 people who attended the event, thanks to national, state, and local scholarships. You will hear about sessions on advocacy, bluffing, strengthening local chapters, social issues, edcuation and workplace issues, and much more. Gussie and Kay will share their overall experience, which included social events and special opportunities to meet others with similar experiences.
