"How the Weather Played a Role in the Battles of Trenton & Princeton”

The weather played a crucial role in deciding the outcome of two major battles at a time when the life of the American Revolution seemed to be draining away. Join us for an evening with Elliot Abrams, a weather buff since his father built him a barometer at five and an award winning meteorologist with Accu-Weather, as he relates how weather and George Washington's knowledge of it played a crucial role in the outcome of the Battles Trenton and Princeton. As always, the public is invited and encouraged to attend! Thursday, September 3, 2009 7:30 p.m. Foxdale Village Auditorium 500 E. Marylyn Avenue State College, PA At 7:00pm just prior to the monthly program, the CCGS is offering “Tips for Climbing Your Brick Wall” This is an opportunity for CCGS members to share their genealogical expertise. Let us know your brick wall problem and someone will try to help! Contact Nancy Lee Stover nstover@gotmc.net in advance of the meeting if you have a specific question to be addressed.
