Health Care for America Now on the road to State College!

Good afternoon!
    I am pleased to announce that HCAN, Health Care for America Now will be in State College on Friday, May 15, 2009.  We will be meeting at the Schlow Centre Region Library at 211 South Allen St. State College.  The time is set for 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and we have a grace period of up until 2:30 PM.  We will be in the Community Room A, or referred to as Downsbrough A. 
   A media advisory and release will be sent by tomorrow and resent Wednesday, May 13.  Please invite your friends and fellow activists as we push health care reform forward.  Invited guests include; State Rep. H. Scott Conklin, Centre County Commissioner, Jon Eich, SEIU Coordinator, Neal Gorfinkle, AFL-CIO coordinator, Michael Fedor, Centre County Democratic Chair, Diane Gregg and other acrtivists and leaders are expected. 
     If any of you know individuals who have compelling stories around health care, particularly with insurance companies, let me know. Additionally, if you know of folks who have lost their health care due to downsizing, outsourcing, or plant closings, please make contact with them as well.
