Community Garden

The Sustainable Agriculture Club and the Center for Sustainability are opening an organic community garden for the 2009 season. The  garden is located off Porter road near the Spikes stadium with  10 ft X 15 ft plots available for a $20 membership fee. Students, faculty members and community members are invited to join us, no experience required! We will be accepting applications on a first come first serve basis until we fill the garden or March 7. For an application please visit: http://www.clubs.psu.edu/up/sac/communitygarden.html/ Even if you already have a garden, we will be offering workshops on various gardening topics throughout the summer, which are open to everyone. If you have any questions please contact Jackie at jxy180@psu.edu.

Cool beans

Ahhh thats nice to hear. It makes me envious, my garden is on a hilly space with tons of tricky microclimates - oh how wonderful it would be to have big flat plots to work on!

I hope somebody will send in some pictures of the plots as they get developed.
