Winterfest Concert with The Easterly Chamber Players

Diane Gold Toulson , flute, Smith Toulson, clarinet, and Anne Sullivan, harp

Our third Winterfest concert at the UUFCC features a  program of harp and woodwind music presented by the Easterly Chamber Players, all of whom have appeared on Winterfest programs in the past. Their  program will include works by the French composers Ravel, Ibert, and Damase. Diane Gold Toulson is an active orchestral and chamber musician who is well known to local audiences. In addition to teaching at the Music Academy and being principal flutist with the Nittany Valley Symphony, she also is principal flutist with the Altoona and York Symphonies. Smith Toulson recently retired from the PSU School of Music, where he was a member of the Pennsylvania Quintet. He is principal clarinetist in the Nittany Valley and Altoona Symphonies and the Pennsylvania Centre Orchestra. Anne Sullivan is in demand as a recitalist, chamber musician, and symphonic soloist. Since moving to Centre County she has established a harp studio and the Harp in the Mountains Summer Festival in Coburn. She also teaches and performs in the Philadelphia area.

Tickets $10;  students and children admitted free.   Proceeds benefit the performers and the UUFCC piano restoration.
