Objective Reporting - Obama and McCain
Submitted by Status Quo No on October 8, 2008 - 7:00pmI recently read two comments from the staff at Voices concerning one of the Presidential Candidates. Everyone is entitled to thier opinion but not sure if the staff should be taking sides as are they are not supposed to be biased (even if another person posts a crazy link). I also would not cite a PAC as a that is clearly out against McCain as a creditable source (I also do not trust the ones that do the same thing to Obama). Some of the people this PAC cited were preople like Dennis DeConcini (D - Senator from AZ) who are also not exactly "stand up" folks. DeConcini was a member of the Keating Five. DeConcini was also appointed by Clinton to the Freddie Mac Board. The WSJ (see Barney Breaks it Down) had a great editorial today how loose lending practices set in place by the Clinton administration were part (not all as plenty of blame exists to go around to the current administration, lenders and people who wanted to buy a $400K house on $50K of income while taking out a HELOC) of the current crisis.
